2026 Wildflowers Pop-Up Book Workshop Series: Unit 2 (of 6)

$275.00

Why do we think flowers are beautiful? It’s a combination of color, structure, movement (both in the unfurling and the interplay with the environment), massing, and partnering. If you are like me, you spend many winter hours considering these factors in anticipation of the next growing season. To help scratch that itch, I invite you to join me in building some flowers of your own! In this first of six botanical pop-up workshops, you will build seven handsome blooms using just a few hand tools and a kit of pre-cut pieces.* You’ll assemble the structures, bind them into a simple-yet-elegant book, and gain insights into paper engineering and paper sculpture. All levels are welcome.

Unit 2 flowers: Jewelweed (featured), trumpet vine flower (featured), fragrant water lily (featured), common evening primrose, sweet flag, butterflyweed, New England aster.

Registration fee: $275
Kit fee (sold separately): $75
• *Cut out the pieces yourself and save the kit fee!
• Register for at least five of the six units and participate for free in a final session to build a slipcase for your volumes.

Due to shipping costs, kit fees for international participants will be higher. Inquire for pricing at shawnsheehy@gmail.com
